Paul serves as Cumberland Heights’ Associate Clinical Officer for the Traditional Adult, First Step and Young Men’s residential programs. His primary focus is supporting Cumberland Height’s clinicians to provide the highest quality care for our patients, their family and loved ones. Paul has worked in the addiction field for over 30 years in residential, outpatient and co-occurring treatment settings. An essential part of part of Paul’s work is to help create an environment of engagement and relevance around treatment and early recovery. Paul's work involves creating a positive environment where recovery from addiction is not about; “what I have to give up” but “what I will gain”. Creating a treatment environment where a combination of 12-step recovery and other clinical therapy is experienced in a meaningful and positive light is Paul’s challenge and passion.
